Monrovia's wholesale plant catalog has moved to the Web.
Consumers still can't order directly from the California grower, but they can avail themselves of information in the catalog that used to be available only to retailers -- information dealing with pruning, watering, soil and plant health.
Users can also search Monrovia's database of 23,000 answers to frequently asked gardening questions, or pose their own questions if they can't find the answers. In addition, they can identify plants that fit their needs by searching the catalog for criteria such as color, plant category and hardiness zone.
