Pasco holds Hillsborough firefighter on drug chargesBy Times staff writer© St. Petersburg Times published April 29, 2002 ZEPHYRHILLS -- A Hillsborough County Fire Rescue firefighter was arrested early Sunday on drug charges after Pasco County sheriff's deputies stopped a car for having a tail light out. Jill Maxine Humphreys, 39, was in a red 1990 Honda stopped on U.S. 301 just north of the Hillsborough County line at 1:28 a.m. According to an arrest report, deputies searched the car and found a purse containing a small amount of marijuana. After Humphreys was arrested, deputies found two marijuana joints in her right rear pocket, the arrest report said. They also found two small plastic baggies containing a white powder deputies identified as methamphetamine, the arrest report said.
