Weekend events -- Tonight

AUTO RACING: The Citrus County Speedway program will consist of short-track stock car races in all classes, plus a 40-lap Sportsman event. The quarter-mile track is 2 miles south of Inverness off U.S. 41 at the fairgrounds. Pit gates open at 2 p.m., grandstand gates at 4. The first heat race is scheduled for 6 p.m. Admission -- Adult general, $12; seniors and students to age 17, $8; children 6-12, $6; children under 42 inches, $2; pits, $20. Clubs

THE CITRUS ROAD RUNNERS CLUB is accepting new members. Walkers are invited. For applications or information, call John Bianco, (352) 527-2760.

THE HERNANDO AUDUBON SOCIETY, a chapter of the Florida and National Audubon Society, meets at 7 p.m. the fourth Thursday of each month at Brooksville Community Hall, 205 East Ft. Dade Ave. Membership is open to all. For information, call Jeanne Brown, (352) 754-5186.

THE PASCO CHAPTER OF THE COASTAL CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Red Cross building, Ridge Road and Congress Avenue, Port Richey. Meetings are free and open to everyone. For information, call (727) 861-1500.
