The Toast of Tampa Show Chorus is seeking new members to participate in the Sweet Adelines International Chorus Contest. Members must reside in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Hardee, Manatee, Sarasota or Citrus counties. For information, call (813) 963-7464 or (352) 527-4121.
The Asolo Theatre Company will hold auditions for young actors for the 2002-03 season 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Monday at the Florida State University Center for the Performing Arts, 5555 N Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. Positions are available for boys ages 10 to 18 and girls 10 to 15. Previous experience preferred. Headshot required. Call (941) 351-9010. The Eight O'Clock Theatre will hold auditions for Tintypes at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive. Positions are available for two men and three women, ages 20 to 45. Be prepared to sing, dance and read from the script. Prepare an uptempo song and an 1890-1920 ballad. Bring sheet music.
