Investigators suspect man was killed in mobile homeBy Times staff writer© St. Petersburg Times published May 12, 2002 TAMPA -- Hillsborough sheriff's deputies are investigating a suspicious death Saturday at Fountain View Mobile Home Park on Sheldon Road. Authorities called to the Nautalis Drive home of Nelson and Mary Violette shortly before 5 a.m. found the body of Charles Johnson, 20, of Sellsmere, said Lt. Rod Reder, Hillsborough County sheriff's spokesman. "It's not been determined a homicide as yet but the circumstances are suspicious," Reder said. Johnson apparently died from blunt trauma to the upper body, said officials who were awaiting autopsy results late Saturday to determine whether he had been slain. Authorities said Johnson was visiting his grandparents at the home. © 2006 • All Rights Reserved • Tampa Bay Times
