OUTTA LEFTFIELD

Hanging in the visiting manager's office at Camden Yards is a print of Jim Palmer midway through his windup. The well-known former Orioles pitcher wandered into Hal McRae's office Friday and spotted the artwork for the first time. "I'm winding up," Palmer said, "and you're getting ready to hit a double off me."
