As thousands of Little League players strolled around the field at Camden Yards, their parents were captivated by what was being televised on the scoreboard. The Preakness, run at nearby Pimlico, was broadcast from start to finish and drew cheers from the crowd when War Emblem won the second leg of the Triple Crown.

WHEN/WHERE: 1:35 p.m.; Camden Yards, Baltimore.

PITCHERS: Rays -- Travis Harper (0-1, 4.09); Orioles -- Scott Erickson (3-3, 4.09).

WORTH NOTING: Harper made his major-league debut against the Orioles on Aug.4, 2000. He allowed seven runs on eight hits in 2 2/3 innings. Erickson is 2-4 with a 4.62 ERA against the Rays since 1999.
