Compiled from Times wires Firefighters, Lit have too much funToo much of a good time spent with the band Lit has gotten some volunteer New Jersey firefighters in trouble. An investigation is under way into the actions of several firefighters in Iselin, N.J., after the band posted photos and tales of its visit to the firehouse on its Web site, Billboard.com says. According to central New Jersey's Home News Tribune newspaper, the members of Lit, who are at Jannus Landing on Saturday, were enjoying a day off May 3 at a T.G.I. Friday's when they ran into some firefighters winding down after a softball game. After the firefighters bought the band drinks, the group was invited back to the firehouse to continue the revelry. "There was this cool bar in the basement with foosball and lots of beer, food, and fun," the band said on the site. The Iselin Board of Fire Commissioners is looking into whether one of the fire company's vehicles was improperly used to ferry the band around the area and what happened during the unsanctioned firehouse party. Stone ready for comebackSharon Stone has declared herself ready for a return to Hollywood, barely eight months after suffering a near-fatal brain hemorrhage. A member of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival, Stone, 44, told reporters she was recovered and wanted to get back to moviemaking soon but on her terms. "I don't know what I'm going to do yet because I don't know what movies I want to make," she said. "But I know that I don't want to be so much in the bright light as before because it makes it difficult to protect myself. "I want to be able to represent fairly a woman of my real age."
