By Times staff writer Who's newsRealtor Jerry Dickson, an agent with Prudential Tropical Realty's Land O'Lakes office, recently received the Graduate Realtors Institute designation. The GRI designation is awarded to members of the National Association of Realtors upon successful completion of a rigorous criteria. The designation is earned by less than 23 percent of all real estate agents. * * * Randall J. Garrett CSA of A.R.S. Financial Group LLC, New Port Richey, completed a comprehensive course on priority senior issues. The course is conducted by the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, a national organization that has trained more than 4,000 professionals in 47 states. Successful participants complete a thorough examination to earn the Certified Senior Advisor designation. Mr. Garrett has taken this educational initiative to become a professional leader in meeting the key needs and issues concerning senior citizens. * * * Star One Realty, New Port Richey, announced its top Realtors for April: Lyle Larson, top sales agent; Jeff Meyer and Karen Malluck, both top listing agents and top producers. * * * Kemp Real Estate announced its top producing associates for April: Elaine Hejka, top closed sales and top producer and Pat Coger, top closed sales. BriefsConstruction has begun on the 11,000-square-foot Wilderness Lodge complex in Land O'Lakes, the recreational centerpiece of Wilderness Lake Preserve -- the 600-acre, master-planned community in central Pasco County. * * * Winward Homes was selected to build its line of single-family residences in the gated village of Trinity West at Trinity, the $1.5-billion, master-planned community in southwest Pasco County. * * * Pasco County's Board of County Commissioners will be the presenting sponsor of Business Development Week 2003. The event, which will run Jan. 27 through Feb. 1, will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year. The West Pasco Chamber is proud to announce that the BDW committee will take the event countywide. The goal of the County Commissioners and the Chamber is to make the six days of business workshops and seminars available to all business owners throughout the county.
