Studio spotlights new prints

For more than 30 years, Graphicstudio has pushed the boundaries and raised the bar on printmaking techniques. In the process, the workshop on the campus of University of South Florida in Tampa has attracted luminaries of the art world who come to the studio to collaborate with artisans in creating works on paper, ranging from cutting edge digital to traditional lithography. Graphicstudio recently released new prints by Guillermo Kuitca, William Wegman and Kenny Scharf, whose Space Travel, an etching with hand painting, is seen above. The new works will be on view through August. Graphicstudio is on the USF campus at 3702 Spectrum Blvd., Suite 100, Tampa. It is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment. Admission is free. For more information, call (813) 974-3503.
