Notes: Shelters are listed in order of opening. A minimum of two shelters will be open during emergencies. All public shelters in the county are equipped to accommodate handicapped evacuees. Pets, alcoholic beverages and weapons will not be permitted inside Red Cross shelters.

If you are evacuating, you should bring the following:

Pillows, blankets, sleeping bags or air mattresses

Extra clothing, sturdy shoes, eyeglasses, etc.

Personal hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, contact solution, etc.)

Quiet games, books, playing cards and favorite toys for children

Important papers, including driverŐs license, medical information, insurance policies and property inventories

Lightweight folding chairs or cots
