The site address is www.tbinterstates.com. New voting machines available for try-outBe prepared for the next election. The new touch-screen voting machines are now available to try out. Drop in for a demonstration from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday at the St. Petersburg Supervisor of Elections office, 501 First Ave. N, or visit the county's website at www.pinellascounty.org. Put your Action Center requests online at siteThe services of the city of St. Petersburg's Action Center are now available online at www.stpete.org. By visiting Action Online residents can request a service, file a complaint or voice an opinion on current issues. Alphabetized services from alley triming and abandoned vehicles to traffic signals or water bill questions can be addressed. After entering the essential information the system provides a request number and progress on the issue can be tracked. Once a request for service is received the public service representative assigned to the area will respond. Seniors get paid while training for jobsThe AARP Senior Community Service Employment Program helps low-income people ages 55 and older find employment. The program provides training and pays minimum wage while being trained. There is no charge for the service. Call 943-7370.893-7111.
