Nancy Moore says, "This job is just what I wanted -- nice people, the hours are great, close to home." Moore came to the Hillsborough County Aging Services Department's Working Seniors Program to find a part-time job. The program referred her to a part-time receptionist position, for which she was hired soon after. "It's the ideal job," she says.
Moore has an extensive banking background. She worked for two local banks until they closed their doors in the Tampa Bay area. She started as a receptionist, then became an administrative assistant and subsequently moved to a registrar position. On her last job, where she worked for 11 years, she handled dormant accounts.
Moore is originally from Connecticut but was raised in Tampa. She is a graduate of Hillsborough High School. She has three children, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her hobbies are reading and bowling.
Freddie Hudson is section manager for RSVP Working Seniors Programs.
