Uncle Sam Jam set in Inverness again

INVERNESS -- The New Inverness Olde Towne Association has received the green light from the city to hold its third annual Uncle Sam Jam on July 6. "I'm pleased," said Winston Perry, the association's president, who feared the city might not permit the courthouse square festival because of the upcoming downtown renovation project. Perry expects to have an array of nonprofit vendors and entertainment, including a live DJ and the Moonwalk Jumparoo games. "Everybody's calling up and saying absolutely (they want to be involved) because they had such a great time last year," he said. For more information, call Winston Perry at 637-6333.
