    Sport physicals available Saturday

    PALM HARBOR -- The Sports Medicine Center at Mease Countryside Hospital will administer sports physicals for North Pinellas athletes from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Palm Harbor University High School gymnasium, 1900 Omaha St. Athletes from Countryside, Dunedin, East Lake, Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs high schools are eligible. More than a dozen physicians will be on site. The cost is $10.

    Rotary Club sponsors fine arts auction

    PALM HARBOR -- The Rotary Club of Palm Harbor will have a fine arts auction Friday at the Palm Harbor Senior Activity Center, 1500 16th St. A preview of the art will begin at 6 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine, with an auction at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit community programs. Tickets are $12 per person, $20 per couple. For ticket information, call Rotary club president Jim Feierbacher at (727) 799-2255.

    Free jazz concert Sunday at college

    TARPON SPRINGS -- The Tarpon Springs campus of St. Petersburg College, 600 Klosterman Road, will sponsor a free jazz concert featuring Dan McMillion and his Jazz Orchestra from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday at its outdoor amphitheater. Audience members are encouraged to bring picnics, blankets and lawn chairs. No alcohol is permitted.
