Cooking for a cause
Food vendors hope to raise $175,000 or more for All Children's Hospital this weekend at the annual Taste of Pinellas.
The weekend's theme
Orleans lets All Children's Hospital rework its signature song, Still the One, for its annual telethon, and the band will entertain Taste of Pinellas with the original version and more. |
Taste of Pinellas is in Vinoy Park, at Fifth Avenue NE and North Shore Drive, from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, noon to 10 p.m. Sat. and noon to 7 p.m. Sun. Admission to Vinoy Park is free Friday, $3 for adults and free for children younger than 12 Saturday and Sunday. Shuttle bus service and free parking are at the Echelon McNulty Station Parking Lot on the corner of First Avenue S and Second Street. Shuttles run every 15 minutes. Coolers and animals will not be allowed in the park.
Besides food, the Taste of Pinellas festival offers live entertainment and activities.

TASCO teens interactive area with contests, inflatable games, rock climbing wall, prize giveaways; All Children's Hospital Guild arts and crafts tent; ice-carving demonstrations; radio station representatives.
