ACOUSTIC MUSIC: The folk-acoustic group Relative Viewpoint will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the East Citrus Community Center on State Road 44 about 4 miles east of Inverness. The concert is a fundraiser for the TOOFAR organization. Tickets cost $10 at the door. Call TOOFAR at 726-5004.

LOOK AHEAD

NATURE CAMP: Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park will have two summer programs for children entering the third, fourth or fifth grade next school year. The programs include five half-day workshops, with a graduation ceremony on Saturday. Week 1 is June 17 to 22, Week 2 is July 15 to 20. Call 628-5445, ext 116., and leave a message in the camp program mailbox. Your call will be returned in the evening. Cost is $25. Deadline is 5 p.m. June 7.

CARVING: The Nature Coast Carving Club will meet at 10 a.m. on the first Friday of each month at the Lakes Region Library, 1511 Druid Road, Inverness. Workshops begin at 1 p.m. Monday at the East Citrus Community Center on State Road 44. Call 382-3957.

MUSICAL: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be performed June 27 to 30 at the Curtis Peterson Auditorium at Lecanto High. Evening performances are at 8 p.m., with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $15. Call 212-5654.

THEATER CAMP: The Citrus Performing Arts Children's Theater, Carter Street, Inverness, will have a three-week program with the emphasis on getting a jump-start on a career in the theater. Professional teachers Barbara Balser, Nancy Kraus and Becky Ickstadt will teach classes in acting, musical comedy, dance, voice, stage modeling, TV acting or production, costumes, puppet theater, arts and crafts, microphone techniques and theater staging. The three-week workshop will end with an evening production guaranteeing that every camper gets his or her moment in the spotlight. Parents, friends and family are invited to attend. The camp runs from from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. weekdays from June 10 to June 28. The center will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

The cost, including all arts/craft supplies and the evening show at the end of the session, is $230. It is open to students age 6 and older. Students should bring a sack lunch, sweater and big towel. Call Barbara Balser at 726-5757 or 344-4422.

PLAY CARDS: The Citrus County Art League has scheduled military card parties through the summer. Each card party will open with a dessert buffet followed by the military card party, which mimics bridge but involves no bidding.

Players circulate from table to table with their winning flags during the game, meeting new people and mingling with old friends. There will be cash prizes and door prizes. The events are June 13 and July 18. Admission is $12. The event is a fundraiser for the art league's theater building fund. The parties begin at 12:30 p.m. and end at 4.

For reservations, call Carol at 382-4417. The parties will be held at the Citrus County Art League Cultural Center at N Annapolis Avenue and County Road 486 in Hernando (Citrus Hills). The Art Center Theatre fundraiser is a project sponsored in part by the Florida Department of State, the Division of Cultural Affairs and the Florida Arts Council.

SUMMER STOCK: Summer is coming alive with a classic Broadwaymusical as Theatre CFCC and the Central Florida Community College SummerMusic and Drama Institute present Fiddler on the Roof.

Performances at CFCC Ocala Campus Fine Arts Auditorium are set for Fridays,June 21 and June 28, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, June 22 and June 29, at 3 and 7:30 p.m.; and Sundays, June 23 and June 30, at 3 p.m.

Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students from CFCC and other schools. They are available at the door and in advance through the CFCC Box Office,(352) 873-5810.

"YOU KNOW I CAN'T HEAR YOU WHEN THE WATER'S RUNNING' continues at Angel Cabaret Theatre, 5201 U.S. 19, New Port Richey (Southgate Shopping Center) through June 30.
