American Legion Odessa Post 147 presented awards to fifth-graders during the last week of school. The awards are given to students for outstanding achievement in the qualities of courage, honor, leadership, patriotism, scholarship and service.
The following students received awards.
Cannella Elementary: Sarah Dickerson and Daniel Aros. Honorable mention: Julia Goldstein and Joseff Colon.
Citrus Park Elementary: Arianna Stewart and Eddie Owen. Honorable mention: Jessica Chambers and Glen Holman.
Essrig Elementary: Katherine Schaefer and Ryan Costello. Honorable mention: Shreya Narayanan and Matthew Childs.
McKitrick Elementary: Lauren Fabozzi and Tommy Osborne. Honorable mention: Michele Renz and Nick Lockwood.
Morgan Woods Elementary: Arielle Pask and Jesse Martinez. Honorable mention: Megan Nelson and Andrew Deal.
Northwest Elementary: Melissa Daigneault and Kevin Myers. Honorable mention: Louise Tilley and Matt Johnson.
Schwarzkopf Elementary: Heather Waymouth and Kristopher Bonnejonne. Honorable mention: Taylor Neal and David Raudales.
Tampa Bay Boulevard Elementary: Dianelys Reyna and Stephen Pidallol. Honorable mention: Yunia Venero and Marco Hokanson.
