Man in disguise robs First Union bank
NEW PORT RICHEY -- A disguised man carrying a note entered a First Union bank branch, demanded cash and ran away Thursday morning, the New Port Richey Police Department reported.
Police said the robber entered the bank at 5211 U.S. 19 in New Port Richey at 9:40 a.m. He was wearing a disguise and sunglasses and handed a teller a note that implied he was armed. He never displayed a weapon.
The man took an undisclosed amount of money and ran toward the south end of Southgate shopping center, police say.
Witnesses could not give a detailed description of the robber.

Woman, 18, accused of sex assault on boy, 14
HUDSON -- An 18-year-old New Port Richey woman was arrested in Hudson on Wednesday after two witnesses told Pasco County sheriff's deputies that they caught her naked on top of a 14-year-old boy, the arrest report said.
Jessica Lynn White of 5711 Pine St. in New Port Richey gave the boy two Xanax, an antianxiety drug, which rendered him physically incapacitated, the arrest report said.
White told deputies that she had oral sex with the boy and that she and the boy had sex, the arrest report said.
White faces one charge of sexual battery. She was taken to the Land O'Lakes jail and was being held Thursday in lieu of $20,000 bail.
