Ex-Seminole High student accused of graduation streakBy Times staff writer© St. Petersburg Times published June 7, 2002 A former Seminole High School student has been accused of exposing himself in the middle of a high school graduation ceremony. Austin Redshaw, 18, was issued a summons Thursday to appear in court on June 28. He was charged as an adult with a second-degree misdemeanor and faces a $500 fine. Redshaw, who withdrew from Seminole High School before graduating, did not seem surprised when Pinellas sheriff's deputies arrived at his home in Redington Beach to charge him with "disruption of a school environment," according to Deputy Dave Swanson. Deputies said Redshaw told them he was acting on a dare Wednesday when he ran naked up to the center aisle of graduating seniors in front of nearly 1,000 shocked onlookers at the Times Arena at Bayfront Center. Teachers and police chased Redshaw from the arena floor but were unable to catch him. © 2006 • All Rights Reserved • Tampa Bay Times
