THE OROSCO CHRONICLES
Dodgers reliever Jesse Orosco made his major-league debut with the Mets on April 5, 1979. So how long has the 45-year-old lefty been around? Rays pitcher Joe Kennedy, who will start today's game, hadn't been born yet.
"Everybody's played against Orosco," said Rays manager Hal McRae, who faced Orosco while playing for the Royals. "If you didn't play against Orosco, you didn't play."
