Quartet -- String quartets by David Manson, Lennie Naeyaert and Joseph Ierna are premiered June 21 in a Tampa Bay Composers' Forum concert at the Palladium Theater. $8 and $10.

Beethoven -- The Florida Philharmonic's sixth annual Beethoven by the Beach festival is from June 25 through July 13 in Fort Lauderdale. $24-$43.

Festival -- Youth orchestras from Louisville, Houston and Orlando perform in the National Youth Orchestra Festival June 26 at Van Wezel Hall. $11.

Madness -- John McGivern stars in Shear Madness at Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center from July 5 through Sept. 1. $24.50-$29.50.

Duo -- Gary Schocker, flute, and Jason Vieux, guitar, begin the summer music series at the Museum of Fine Arts on July 7. $7 and $15.

Mae -- Claudia Shear's comic meditation on Mae West, Dirty Blonde, opens July 12 at American Stage. $20-$30.

Debut -- Banyan Theater Company debuts with Harold Pinter's Betrayal from July 31 through Aug. 11 at Sainer Pavilion of New College of Florida. $25.

Greek -- The Greek Hellenic Camerata Orchestra is at Van Wezel Hall on Aug. 19. $25.
