Dermillo Wise and Kevin Marion have finished side-by-side in the long jump at every meet this season.

That trend continued last weekend at the Adidas Outdoor Championships in Raleigh, N.C. Marion, the national indoor champion who set the state record, finished seventh in his flight with a leap of 21 feet, 6 inches. Wise, the defending outdoor champion, jumped 18-21/2 to place eighth.

Marion also took ninth in the 100. The only other county participant to place was Chauncey Corbin, who took eighth in the 110 hurdles.
