By Times staff writer Producer is father of Hurley's babyDNA tests have determined that Hollywood producer Steve Bing, who sparked a tabloid frenzy when he questioned the paternity of Elizabeth Hurley's baby, is indeed the father of the 2-month-old boy. The test results were disclosed Wednesday at a hearing in the Family Division of the High Court in London. The 37-year-old Austin Powers actor and model, who has always maintained that Bing is the father, could now receive millions of dollars in child support. The 35-year-old California film producer is believed to be heir to a $400-million property fortune. Bing had previously declared that he would provide Damian with financial support and play a part in his upbringing if it was proved that he is the father. Court reinstates 'Millionaire' lawsuitA federal appeals court in Miami has reinstated a lawsuit alleging that ABC discriminates against disabled people seeking to become contestants on Who Wants to be a Millionaire. The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decided that the lawsuit contained a valid claim that the show's contestant qualifying system, which uses touch-tone phones, violates the Americans with Disabilities Act. District Judge Federico Moreno in Miami had concluded in 2000 that the ADA isn't broad enough to cover the show's telephone qualifying process. The panel ordered Tuesday that he review the decision. Manson pleads no contestShock rocker Marilyn Manson, who was charged with sexual misconduct for allegedly gyrating against a security guard at a concert, pleaded no contest Wednesday to being a disorderly person and assault and battery. Clarkston, Mich., District Judge Gerald McNally ordered Manson, whose name is Brian Warner, to pay fines and costs totaling $4,000. A no contest plea is not an admission of guilt. Afterward, Manson said the ruling was fair, adding, "It's a victory for art." Security guard Joshua Keasler was working on the stage during Manson's July 30, 2001, performance when Manson allegedly rubbed his genitals against his neck.
