Youth -- Closing concerts June 29 of the National Youth Orchestra Festival at Van Wezel Hall include Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique and Barber's Adagio for Strings. $11.
America -- John and Mary K. Wilson perform a patriotic program June 30 at Largo Cultural Center. $10.
Shear -- Claudia Shear's solo show Blown Sideways Through Life is at Florida Studio Theatre July 2-20. $18-$26.
Madness -- John McGivern stars in Shear Madness at Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center from July 5 through Sept. 1. $24.50-$29.50.
Duo -- Gary Schocker, flute, and Jason Vieux, guitar, play works of Handel, Albeniz, Giuliani, Schocker and Piazzola at the Museum of Fine Arts on July 7. $7 and $15.
Mae -- Claudia Shear's comic meditation on Mae West, Dirty Blonde, opens July 12 at American Stage. $20-$30.
Debut -- Banyan Theater Company debuts with Harold Pinter's Betrayal from July 31 through Aug. 11 at Sainer Pavilion of New College of Florida. $25.
