"LOVE, SEX AND THE IRS," a comedy farce, continues at Show Palace Dinner Theatre, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson through June 30. FOUR SONGWRITERS -- Donna Klein, Joel Frye, Sheila Hughes and Ted Wray -- will sing and perform their songs and tell how they put them together at 8 p.m. today at the Tarpon Springs Cultural Center, 101 S Pinellas Ave. (Alt. 19), Tarpon Springs. Admission is $10.

LOOK AHEAD

MAIN STREET BLAST on June 29 in New Port Richey's Sims Park will have Blood, Sweat and Tears with David Clayton-Thomas (You've Made Me So Very Happy). Gates open at 5 p.m., fireworks at dark, and, from noon to 4 p.m., a car show, games, activities, music by the Bendys and the Satellites, an old fashioned flea market, the Miss Firecracker Pageant and festival food. Admission is free, except the BST concert, which is $10 for general admission and $15 for preferred seating. The Main Street Blast Fire Sale flea market is from noon to 4 p.m., and booths are $25. For concert tickets, a booth or an entry form in Miss Firecracker contest, call (727) 842-8066. A $2 donation will be accepted.

"BOOM BLAST 2002, A TRIBUTE TO OUR HEROES," will be from 3 to 10:30 p.m. July 4 in front of the Dillard's store in Gulf View Square mall on U.S. 19 in Port Richey. Entertainment by the Satellites, Blues Brothers Review, Sweet Adelines, Stan Princton and several karaoke singers starts at 4 p.m. There will be a swimsuit fashion show, a car show and festival foods. A fireworks display to music will be at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free. Those who attend should bring lawn chairs and parasols.
