Clubs

THE WEST PASCO AUDUBON SOCIETY, a chapter of the Florida and National Audubon Society, meets on the second Thursday of each month (except for April, July and August) at 7:30 p.m. at the Community Congregational Church, 6533 Circle Blvd. in downtown New Port Richey. THE PASCO CHAPTER OF THE COASTAL CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Red Cross building at Ridge Road and Congress Avenue in Port Richey. Meetings are free and open to everyone. Call (727) 861-1500.

THE HERNANDO AREA BOAT CLUB, organized to promote safe boating, meets on the first and third Wednesday of every month at the Aripeka Community Center on Osawa Boulevard (S.R. 595). Call (352) 666-1725.

THE HERNANDO SPORTSMAN'S CLUB, a family oriented shooting club, meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the range west of U.S. 19, 9.5 miles north of State Road 50. The range is open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Call (904) 597-9931 or 799-3605 or 795-4730.
