ST. PETERSBURG -- An employee of an adult congregate-living facility has been arrested and accused of stabbing one of the ACLF's residents eight times.

One of the wounds, St. Petersburg police say, penetrated victim David V. Wilburn's skull. The attack occurred at the Carden House, 2349 Central Ave.

Kevin D. Green was arrested Friday and charged with attempted first-degree murder. He is being held at the Pinellas County Jail without bail.

Green, 32, lives at 2322 10th Ave. SW in Largo. Both Wilburn and another witness identified Green as the man who stabbed Wilburn. Green denied the allegations, according to an arrest affidavit.
