Downtown St. Petersburg -- Activities begin at 11 a.m. at the Pier, 5 p.m. in Straub and Vinoy parks. Fireworks 9 p.m. Free.
Clearwater Celebrates America -- Concerts, exhibitors and food, 4-9:30 p.m. Fireworks follow. Coachman Park, Drew and Cleveland streets, downtown Clearwater. Free.
Gulfport Celebration -- Family activities 4-7 p.m., parade 7 p.m., fireworks 9:15 p.m. at Gulfport Beach and areas in downtown Gulfport. Free.
Dunedin Fourth -- Activities 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Edgewater Park, 51 Main St., next to the marina, Dunedin. Fee for food. Free.
Red, White and Boom! -- Dusk, Taylor Park, 1100 Eighth Ave. SW, Largo. (727) 587-6720. Free.
Tarpon Springs Freedom Festival -- Activities begin at noon, Craig Park on Spring Bayou, Tarpon Springs. Free. (727) 938-7685. Freedom Fest -- Activities 5-9 p.m., followed by fireworks. 701 Channelside Drive and nearby area, Tampa. Free.
SS American Victory -- Tours 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on ship, docked at 705 Channelside Drive, Tampa (behind the Florida Aquarium). $4 adults, $3 ages 6-12.
Big, Bang, Boom! -- Family activities 4-11 p.m. Fireworks 9:45 p.m. Ybor City. Free.
