    Summer camp scholarships available for July

    Largo Recreation, Parks and Arts Department is offering summer camp scholarships for July. Scholarships, awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, are available for kids who qualify for free and reduced lunch programs. Camp prices start at $40 a week for campers without scholarships. One-week sports camps will be offered in tae kwon do, soccer, baseball, basketball, bowling, dance or lacrosse. The camps, which are for Largo kids 6 to 16, run Monday through Friday.     SPCA program can help allay the cost to spay

    LARGO -- The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals offers an ongoing service to help people on limited incomes spay and neuter pets. Apply from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays at the SPCA, 9099 130th Ave. N, Largo. Call 586-3591.
