Fantasy adds cash to women's reality
By BRADY DENNIS, Times Staff Writer Okay, so it isn't a multimillion dollar Lotto jackpot. But two Pasco women have heftier bank accounts these days thanks to some lucky numbers. The same lucky numbers. Verna Wright, 55, of Zephyrhills, and Tonia Waltz, 43, of Port Richey, each won $73,579.53 in Wednesday night's Fantasy Five drawing. Both claimed their prizes at local lottery offices Friday; Wright in Tampa, Waltz in Clearwater. Frieda Albright, 73, of Summerfield in Marion County, also won the same amount. The three women split the $220,738 jackpot. Neither Wright nor Waltz could be reached for comment Friday. Wright bought her winning ticket at Pat's Food Mart No. 11 at 3525 Gall Blvd. in Zephyrhills. Waltz bought her winning ticket at Smart Mart, 7820 State Road 52. The odds of winning the Fantasy Five drawing are 1-in-376,992, a lottery official said. More than 113,000 other people also won cash prizes or free Quick Pick tickets in Wednesday's drawing. The winning numbers that won both Wright and Waltz the pile of cash were 04-09-17-26-27.
