DADE CITY -- A 6-month-old radio outreach program for the Spanish-speaking community will hold its first live remote broadcast today to benefit a charity foundation. Aurora Juarez, who hosts the weekly program Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on WDCF-AM 1350, said she will broadcast from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Neyla Sanchez Fashions, 14441 Seventh St., to celebrate the store's anniversary.

The Blue Angels, a foundation that helps cover funeral expenses for families that cannot afford them, will benefit from the event, Juarez said.

She said the afternoon will include live entertainment, listener telephone calls, dancing and music. Visitors who come to the broadcast may dedicate songs and hear themselves on the air.

"We're going to be doing a lot of different things," Juarez said. "Anyone who wants to come by is welcome. And if anybody can help out the Blue Angels, that would be great."
