HUDSON -- Lingerie shop owner Heather Fox was arrested Friday evening on charges of aggravated battery on a man who said Fox was the mother of his four children, according to a Pasco County Sheriff's deputy report.
Fox, 28, owner of Suncoast Lingerie at 14832 U.S. Highway 19, was arrested there at 10:48 p.m. after the victim, who was not identified in the report, said Fox accused him of having an affair and struck him with a wood bat. He had a bloody nose and a swollen lower lip, the report said.
Fox said she hit him on the head with the bat to prevent him from drinking and driving, and that he responded by pushing her against a wall and attempted to choke her. She had no signs of injury, according to the report.
Fox, of 7978 Adelaide Loop, in New Port Richey, was taken to Land O'Lakes jail, where she remained Saturday. Bail was set at $1,000.
