For the first time, fans will fill the 30th and final roster spots for the National League and American League All-Star teams.

How does it work?

All you need to do is log onto mlb.com or espn.com and cast your vote for "The All-Star 30th Man." AL manager Joe Torre and NL manager Bob Brenly each picked five players that fans can choose from.

From the AL are Indians first baseman Jim Thome, A's third baseman Eric Chavez, Angels outfielder Darin Erstad, Red Sox outfielder Johnny Damon and White Sox outfielder Magglio Ordonez. Eligible from the NL are Cardinals outfielder Albert Pujols, Padres first baseman Ryan Klesko, Rockies outfielder Larry Walker, Pirates outfielder Brian Giles and Braves outfielder Andruw Jones.

Winners will be announced Tuesday.
