Gadget happy?

You know the signs: A new gadget comes out and you have to have it -- now. You have drawers stuffed with things that used to buzz and beep but that were abandoned for the latest and greatest. You have more electronics than you can use. You, or someone you know, just might be Tech Times' First Family of Tech.

A single computer is not enough. Think multiple computers, a high-speed Internet connection and a home network. Do you control your house from a remote location, turning on the air conditioning before you get home or monitoring it with a Webcam?

Do your kids play video games? How many systems do they have? One? Two? More?

Cable TV? Satellite? Digital video recorder? How many remotes -- and do you know what they control?

Digital music? Handheld organizers? Cell phone with wireless Internet? A family cell phone plan? Gadgets for the car? Is there no end?

Can you pass an electronics store without going in? Can you go in and not buy something?

We invite you to tell us about just how gadget-happy you are. We'll pick the best, and let others learn what a high-tech lifestyle in the 21st century really means.

Please send your ideas along with your name, address and telephone number by e-mail to techtimes@sptimes.com or by mail to First Family of Tech, Dave Gussow, P.O. Box 1121, St. Petersburg, FL 33731-1121.
