Rain all but completely washed out play Monday.

A handful of District 5 Major Baseball and Junior Softball games were salvaged, but District 12 had to suspend many of its games. Most games postponed Monday have been rescheduled for tonight.

MAJOR BASEBALL: After a three-hour rain delay, the District 5 All-Stars Tournament began with Azalea defeating Baypoint 7-6. Jordan Wilson had two hits and drove in two runs. Paul Howell pitched a complete game for the win. Azalea advances to play Northeast tonight at 6.

A five-run second inning sparked by Jared Carr's two run home run helped Pinellas Park National defeat Cross Bayou 9-1. Marc Reed tossed a complete game, allowing one hit and striking out 14. Reed also hit a solo home run in the fourth inning. Pinellas Park National advances to play Pinellas Park American tonight at 8.

On Sunday, Mike Foster got the win in Safety Harbor National's 2-1 win over Palm Harbor National. East Lake starter Jared Weber went the distance in a 3-2 win over Largo American.

MINOR BASEBALL: Safety Harbor American clinched Pool A in the District 12 Tournament on Sunday with a 6-2 win over Largo National. Centerfielder Drew Brachna drove in two runs and scored twice, while Michael Gomes pitched four innings for the win in a rain-shortened game.

JUNIOR BASEBALL: Michael Kurant allowed only three hits as Southwest defeated Northeast on Saturday.

FLML: Northwest defeated Fossil Park 5-4 on Sunday afternoon to capture the Florida Little Major League District 5 All-Stars Tournament. Aaron Tullo allowed only four hits for the win. Shortstop Chris Wallace had two hits and drove in two runs to spark Northwest's comeback from a three-run deficit. Northwest advances to play in the state tournament in Tallahassee.
