XXX marked mentoring spot on Net
Those seeking the governor's site were detoured down the seedy road to Web porn.

TALLAHASSEE -- Gov. Jeb Bush has made a name for himself as the Internet governor, writing flurries of e-mails and prodding state government onto the World Wide Web.
But Bush just hit a big bump on the information superhighway. Anyone who typed in the published address for the governor's mentoring Web site was sent instead to a hard-core pornography site.
It appears to be a case of porn-napping, in which a pornography Web site operator buys the registered address of an established site in hopes of drawing unsuspecting customers. The governor's office failed to renew the registration, and the operators of Tina Web Cam swooped in.
The mentoring program now has a new address, www.flamentoring.org.
The mentoring program is hardly the first to fall prey to so-called stealth porn. The township of Bensalem in suburban Philadelphia was recently taken over by a Russian pornographer soon after its domain registration expired.
Steve Uhlfelder, the architect of Bush's mentoring initiative, said it requires a particularly disturbed mind to take a Web site to help kids and route it to a porn site.
"I'm just stunned that someone would do something like that. It probably speaks for the need to have mentors for adults," he said.
