Sneak a peek at new museum's design

Before you decide to love or hate the design for the new Tampa Museum of Art, get a fuller picture of it at the current Tampa Museum of Art, 600 N Ashley Drive. Architect Rafael Vinoly's large model and a computerized walk-through are on display, along with sketches and elevations. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays; 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. Adults $5, seniors $4, students $3. Children under 5 and members free. Admission is by donation 5 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays. The museum is closed today for Independence Day. Call (813) 274-8130.
