INVERNESS -- Stymied by a lack of leads in the mysterious death of an evangelist found with an arrow lodged in his torso, the Citrus County Sheriff's Office is reissuing the sketch of a dark-haired man with a mustache who they think was with the victim in the days before he died.

The body of Kenneth R. Richardson was found Aug. 27 in shallow water near the Fort Island Beach boat ramp. Days later, detectives released the sketch of a man thought to have been one of the last people to see Richardson. The man is not a suspect in Richardson's death, but investigators think he may have important information.

"Maybe someone who knows something was out of town the last time the picture was released," said Lt. Joe Eckstein.

Although detectives have interviewed several people from four states, they have not found the man in the composite sketch.

"All the information they have been getting is basically coming to a dead end," Eckstein said.

The Sheriff's Office is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest.

Richardson was a resident of Paragon, Ind., and maintained a home on State Street in Homosassa. His red Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck was parked on the beach near where the body was found, a few miles from the Crystal River Nuclear Power Plant.
