Par-5
508 yards
At the time, it put him into a tie for the lead. When Justin Rose hit his 4-iron second shot some 244 yards at the par-5 ninth, it landed short of the green and then started rolling toward the pin. "Those noise of the crowd made it sound like it was close to going in for 2," Rose said. "That was the best shot of the day." The ball stopped 5 feet from the cup, and Rose holed the putt for an eagle that putt on top of the leader board. He settled for a 68 and is one shot back of the leaders. Rose's eagle was one of four at the ninth, which played as the easiest hole on the course.
