LARGO -- A vagrant was charged early Thursday with molesting a girl at a mobile home where he was staying.

Haywood Wilson, 42, was sleeping on a couple's couch at Rainbow Village Trailer Park, 11911 66th St, according to Largo police. Two preteen girls were sleeping in the same room as Wilson. Two hours after the girls fell asleep, Wilson molested one of them, police said. The other screamed for help. When the couple appeared from their bedroom, Wilson fled.

Clearwater police officers found Wilson four hours later at Prospect and Drew streets. He was charged with lewd and lascivious molestation on a child under 16 and was being held at Pinellas County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
