HUDSON -- The Florida Department of Health has issued a poor water quality advisory for Robert J. Strickland Memorial Park and Boat Ramp and closed the area.
Coastal monitoring showed the water is high in bacteria and might pose a risk of infectious disease. The bacteria stem from fecal pollution, which can come from pets, storm runoff and human sewage, health officials said.
