NEW PORT RICHEY -- A 40-year-old New Port Richey man was facing false imprisonment, robbery and drug charges Monday after police found him in a drug-filled motel room with a screaming, naked woman, an arrest report said.

Allan Scott Jones, who listed his address as Room 203, Value Lodge at 6523 U.S. 19, was arrested at 10:08 a.m. Sunday at the motel, his arrest report said. He was taken to the Land O'Lakes jail and faces charges of false imprisonment, robbery, battery, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substances.

According to an arrest report, New Port Richey police arriving at the motel heard the woman screaming inside. Officers knocked, and when the door opened, they saw the naked woman and drugs on the floor, the report said. Jones was then arrested.

The woman told officers that Jones took her into the room and forced her to take her clothes off. The woman said Jones took from her a gold necklace, the report said.

Officers found syringes, spoons used for "cooking" drugs, plastic sandwich bags of white powder and a tin container with pills inside, according to the report. When officers searched Jones, they found another spoon, a syringe and four pills in a small bag, as well as the chain the woman said he had stolen.

Jones was being held on $70,000 bail Monday night.
