Meet primary candidates Aug. 24

South Tampa residents will get a chance Aug. 24 to meet candidates running for office in the Sept. 10 primary.

The Interbay Peninsula Partnership is having its second annual Community Action Social from 9 a.m. to noon in the Robinson High School cafeteria and courtyard, 6311 S Lois Ave.

All Interbay and South Tampa residents are invited. There will be free refreshments and music.

The partnership includes the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce, MacDill Air Force Base and the community associations from Port Tampa City, Gandy and Ballast Point.
