Tickets go on sale for family theater seriesBy Times staff© St. Petersburg Times published August 18, 2002 Ruth Eckerd Hall's St. Petersburg Times Family Theater Series for 2002-03 features classic children's stories such as The Snow Queen and The Little Engine That Could, as well as new favorites, including Franklin, star of the Nickelodeon TV series. Tickets for the series go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday. The schedule: Woodland Tales: By Eckerd Theater Company in the Margarete Heye Great Room. 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. Sept. 29. $5. One Monster After Another: By Child's Play touring theater. 1 and 3 p.m. Oct. 27. $6. The Snow Queen: By Eckerd Theater Company. 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 17. $8. The Chocolate Nutcracker: Fifth anniversary production. 11 a.m. Dec. 14 and Dec. 15, $10; 7 p.m. Dec. 13, $17. Leland Faulkner's World of Wonder: Includes magic, pantomime and shadow play. 3 p.m. Jan. 12. $8.
