Soccer players, volunteers sought

KEYSTONE -- Saturday is the final registration for Hillsborough County United Soccer Club's fall recreation season.

Returning players may sign up from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Sickles High School cafeteria, 7950 Gunn Highway.

Children ages 4 to 17 are eligible to play. Please bring a copy of the child's birth certificate, completed registration form and notarized medical release form (download both from the HCU Web site). Cost is $115, $110 for additional siblings.

New Tampa soccer registration set

TAMPA PALMS -- The New Tampa Soccer Association is holding registration Saturday for the fall season.

Signup for recreational soccer is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Compton Park Clubhouse, 16101 Compton Drive. There will be boys, girls and coed teams. Children must be at least 4 to play. Cost ranges from $85-$120, depending upon age group.

New players must bring health insurance carrier name and policy number and a copy of their birth certificate, passport, certificate of naturalization or military identification card.
