PORT ST. LUCIE -- Mayoral candidate Jim Fielding went ahead and used 250 campaign signs that misspelled his name in large letters, "Vote Jim FEILDING."
He said he couldn't afford to lose the $500 he spent, and "most people probably won't notice it."
Fielding said he missed the misspelling in a proof the signmaker sent him before the print job.
