McKibbon Hotel Properties, Tampa, has named Terri Trueblood as sales and service coordinator for the Courtyard and Residence Inn by Marriott, Tampa. Trueblood was a guest services associate for Disney's Boardwalk Resort, Orlando.

NONPROFIT

Pinellas Association for Retarded Children, St. Petersburg, announced the election of officers and new members to the board of directors for 2002-2003. Officers are: Martha J. "Marty" Medley, chairwoman; David G. Pilkington, first vice chairman; Bruce C. Crawford, second vice chairman; Mark A. LaPrade, secretary; Robert L. "Skip" Carr, treasurer; and John E. Boley Centers for Behavioral Health Care Inc., St. Petersburg, announced the following appointments: Fred Fearday, director of residential services; David Hirsch, director of property management; and Miriam Williams, vice president of programs. Sherri Forte has been named senior property manager for Advantis Real Estate Services Co., Tampa. Forte was a senior property manager with Grubb & Ellis, Tampa.

UTILITIES

Karen Breakell has been named manager of the Florida corporate communications team for Florida Power, St. Petersburg. Breakell was director of constituent relations for University of Central Florida, Orlando.
