Can a bunny be boiled in a swimming pool? That's all the new movie Swimfan needs to complete its juvenile rip-off of Fatal Attraction, a 1987 thriller that still gives the willies to cheating men. This time it's Erika Christensen (Traffic), right, stepping in for Glenn Close as the scorned woman -- in this case, a high school student -- and Jesse Bradford (Bring It On), left, replacing Michael Douglas as the guy whose libido gets him into a obsessive jam. Christensen plays Madison Bell, whose crush on a swim team star (Bradford) leads to horseplay in the pool. The next day, he's ready to return to his girlfriend's arms but Madison has other, deadly ideas. The film is rated PG-13, meaning it's open to all the young viewers whose parents wish wouldn't be concerned with such matters.
