The Island Community Theatre will hold auditions for the murder mystery Honeymoon From Hell at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Thunderbird Hotel, 10700 Gulf Blvd., Treasure Island. Positions available for four men and three women age 30 and up. Italian dialect helpful for male roles. All readings from the script. Call (727) 341-2752.

The Eight O'Clock Theatre will hold auditions for A Streetcar Named Desire at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive. Positions available for six men and five women ages 18 and older. Readings from the script. Head shot and resume appreciated. Call (727) 587-6751.

Weeki Wachee Springs is accepting applications for people wanting to be Mermaids and Mermen in underwater shows. Auditions are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today-Sunday at 6131 Commercial Way, Weeki Wachee. You must be 18 or older and a strong swimmer. Those accepted will be enrolled in an intensive training program that includes scuba certification. Call (352) 596-2062.

The Pinellas Youth Symphony is holding auditions for woodwinds, brass and percussion by appointment only Saturday at Osceola Middle School, 9301 98th St. N, Seminole. String auditions will be held Sept. 14. The Symphony offers five levels of orchestra for Pinellas County student musicians. For an appointment, call (727) 438-3149.

The Hernando Symphony Orchestra is holding continuous auditions for membership by appointment only. Positions are available for two trumpets, one trombone, two French horns, one percussion, one oboe and several violins, violas and cellos. The Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center will hold auditions for The Nutcracker from 5-7:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at the Center, 324 Pine St., Tarpon Springs. Positions are available for numerous children ages 7-18. Call (727) 942-5605.
